The Whalers are pleased to welcome back Whaler Alum Robert McGovern as a goalie coach. Rob has previously spent time as a Goalie Coach with Thayer Academy and Mass Crease. 

During his time with the Whalers Rob had a GAA of 2.32. He then played two seasons at Thayer playing 44 games with a 2.33 GAA and a .922 save percentage. Following his time at Thayer he had a successful career at the University of Maine, playing in 61 games with .910 save percentage and a 2.94 GAA. We are very excited for Rob to join our staff!
