Whalers Forward Pavit Mehra has concluded his High School hockey career. In two and a half seasons with Hopkinton, Mehra surpassed the 100-point mark. This season, Mehra finished his High School career in a historic fashion. In the State Semifinals, Mehra scored four goals in 11 minutes of play against Walpole to send the Hilliers to the State Championship at the TD Garden. In the State Finals, Mehra scored the lone Hilliers goal in defeat. However, Mehra's goal was his 40th of the season, breaking Hopkington's scoring record. He was awarded the Tri-Valley Large Conference's Most Valuable Player award and has been a finalist for MIAA hockey's Player of the Year.

Mehra has made an impact on every team he has played on. As a three-year Whaler, Mehra has scored 40 goals and 45 assists for 85 points in 90 career games. Mehra's Wahler coach David Franzosa spoke about Mehra's development stating, "Pavit's offensive skills improve every year. He has an elite-level shot and great ice vision, which allows him to create offense for himself and his teammates; he is so strong on his skates and can turn on a dime, making it extremely hard for opponents to defend him." Franzosa continued to praise Pavit's game when talking about his future in the sport "Pavit has a high compete level and tremendous will to win. These traits, along with his skill, will set him up to be successful at the next level. I truly think that once Pavit fine-tunes the defensive aspects of his game, which he certainly can do, then the sky's the limit for him in this sport." The Whalers organization wishes Mehra the best of luck as he continues his hockey career.
