We are proud to announce that Michael Callow, U16 forward has committed to Harvard University. Mike is the 8th Whaler in the last 5 years to commit to the Crimson.

This season, Mike currently sits tied for 3rd in points, while being tied for 1st in goals with fellow Harvard commit Bobby Landry. Mike plays his prep hockey for St Sebastian's.

When asked about Mike, coach Dave Franzosa stated "Mike is a noticeable presence every time he steps on the ice. He has all the tools needed - size, strength, shot, skating ability, accountability at both ends of the ice, ice vision and compete level. These tools will serve him well shift after shift. The two key things I have seen in him this year is his willingness to use those skill sets to get pucks to the net more like a power forward and his leadership qualities. Those two elements have taken his overall game to the next level in my opinion.  He's a kid that's easy to root for because he's humble, coachable, loves the sport, is a great teammate, and comes from a great family. If he keeps doing the right things, expect him to be an impact player at Harvard and beyond. I'm very happy for him "
